Distribution and abundance : Local

Flight Period : Double-brooded; May and July to August

Larval foodplants : Laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides), less often on Dyer's Greenweed (Genista tinctoria) or Garden Lupin (Lupinus polyphyllus)

Morley's Final Catalogue : At electric light in Ipswich during September 1895 (Mly); Glemham Magna (Bloomf.); in profusion on laburnum in Monks Soham shrubberies in late May; and on Gorleston pales. Common everywhere: Westerfield, Bury, Whepstead, &c. (Whit).
