Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3) Distribution and abundance : Local Flight Period : April to September, with majority of records in July Larval foodplants : Feathers, animal fibres and possibly dry faeces, in birds' nests and poultry-houses Morley's Final Catalogue : A very few specimens in Ipswich and Monks Soham houses during May to July (Mly). Frequent throughout the east half of Suffolk, up to Lowestoft. Wingspan details : Wingspan 11-17mm Identification
