It was an experience to remember and quite enjoyed it. I did keep telling myself that the chances of getting struck were very remote. My generator and equipment is fine in rain but I also had traps on mains supply and have no idea as to any power failure but they were on in the morning but the RSPB office was tripped out

Was just putting first trap out here at igc when it hit, unfortunately knocking the power out for a while around the sheds so less traps running than I would have liked. One of the most violent storms I’ve ever known around here.
