They are quite a common moth for me and would expect them in this location. There do seem to be quite a few around at present though. Scarce Bordered Straw is common too and quite a few Dark Sword-grass and occasional Convolvulus Hawk-moth.

Got my first records of Latticed Heath here at Homersfield over the last 2 nights: 6 and 5 in the garden trap. I thought they were probably migrants so good to hear you had an even larger catch.
