I hadn’t really noted exactly when my dark sword-grasses arrived, but it wasn’t in south or SE winds. Interesting. It makes you wonder just how many vestals (for example) arrived across East Anglia on the night of the 3rd/4th.

I’m sure they have been hanging around from the night before. My first one was in at 7.30, by 7.45 I had more migrants, see my blog when its done. Hoards of moths came over on the stormy night and took shelter and are now on the move so I would expect more to show, especially with the wind direction change. For example most of my Dark-Sword-grass get to me on South-Westerlies, continuing on the move from whence they came following the changing wind direction. Keith
