Last trapped on 7th March. Don’t really think weather has been encouraging for the species! Early Moth or Human!

I had 26 Spring usher and 2 Pale brindled beauty on the 3rd January, then had a single of both species last time I ran some traps on the 6th March.
23sp so far this year (this does include a few species I’ve disturbed during the day too), by the end of March last year I’d had 43sp. Can’t see how I’m going to add any more species by the end of March this year with the chance of more snow on the way. Looking back and analyzing data shows there isn’t much going on this year – got a bit of spare time to do this, in a normal moth year I wouldn’t get a chance!
