Could be a very cold and snowy winter ahead. Making the most of the conditions myself trapping every night, starting tonight while the good weather for moths lasts. Plenty of Redwings coming over when putting the traps out after rain cleared at 10pm tonight, hopefully some nice moths to come too!

Probably from Friday. How long that lasts depends on whether Atlantic lows can get across to us as they are being pushed south.

Two more for me at Bawdsey last night (20th) – picking them up almost nightly the past week.

I also had Scarce Bordered Straw last night and two female Gems (one each of the past two nights).
